Hi there!! I'm Amanda aka Runnerchickff. I'm 34, married to my high school sweetheart for almost 15 years, and we have 3 beautiful daughters (12, 8 & 5). I'm currently a SAHM but am going back to school in the fall to get my BSN. I'm not a writer but I might eventually put something out there. I can already tell though that I'd be one of those "updates every year" type of authors. :)

My journey to FF started out pretty innocuously: I didn't read the books until the end of 2008, after BD had been published. I devoured them all in about 3 days, pretty much abandoning my family. I then read them again. I fell in love with the soundtrack and watched the movie. I went to the midnight release of the DVD with my then 9 year old. Then we met up with a colleague of my husband & her husband. She's a tad bit older than me, no kids, we didn't have much in common-until she mentioned Twilight. I'd found a kindred spirit. She introduced me to fic & I'm pretty sure my husband has been rueing the day every since. She sent me home with the link to ff.net and a list. My 1st fic was hers, "Antithesis", followed quickly by "LYLS" and then everything else I could get my grubby little hands on.

I've been fortunate to be able to meet up w/ quite a few fandom ladies, locally, not so locally, and at SDCC last summer. I can't wait to see everyone I've met before and meet all the new people in Vegas!!

WTH? Another AMANDA that read all 4 books in 3 days. Is this the Twilight Zone? hahaha Can't wait to see you in Vegas, bb. :)

My real name is Amanda. I'm married and have three children--none of whom will be coming with me, lol. I'm supposed to be working full time, but I lost my job in January. Hopefully, I'll have a new one by June...

I live in Nevada, although at the other end of the state, so I couldn't pass up the chance to meet so many fic friends practically on my doorstep.

I read all four books in three days in December 2009, and that was the beginning of the end. After rereading them so many times I lost count, I still had questions and doubts, and in seeking answers, I found my way to fanfiction, which I'd never previously heard of even though I'd browsed a few Harry Potter fan sites. Next thing I knew, I wanted to beta and joined Project Team Beta, and then I decided to try writing. Between PTB and twitter, I've virtually met so many wonderful people, and I can't wait to meet at least some of them in person in Vegas!

Hello there fellow fic addicts! My name is Nissa or atxcullen online, I try to review for every story I read, sadly I haven't had the guts to write anything. Wow, I can't believe I'm heading to Vegas! I'm not really a fan of Vegas (I've only been twice in high school and I'm a penny pincher so I won't gamble), but if there was one thing to get me to take a trip to Vegas, it's Twilight FanFic! And why not make it a girls weekend with my neighborhood (Austin, TX Woot! Woot!) fanifc readers. I didn't discover Twilight until it came out on DVD and it took me about a month to warm up to it and read the books, but once I started I couldn't stop. A year later (2010) after having memorized the books, my neighbor introduced me to fanfic with Wide Awake and MOTU, after that I became an addict losing sleep and letting my house go to waste. I generally can only get into cannon pairings for stories, AH or AU, I LOVE me a good AU as long as the vamps are cannon.

I'm a stay at home mom with two kids, 6 and 2. My very adorable and extremely energetic sweeties are Kelsey and Kellan (thank you Twilight DVD for the name idea since I was 4 months pregnant when I first watched it). I have two fur babies, (Greyhound and Siamese), as well, and have gotten involved in Greyhound rescue as my escape out of the house on weekends. My husband is awesome about letting me escape in reading, though I think he gets annoyed sometimes when I leave him to deal with the kiddos alone while I get zoned out on my Kindle. I blame him though, he gave me my laptop and kindle as gifts over the past 2 years and I totally wouldn't have time to be addicted without them.

It's hard to answer the bonus question because all the fics tend to blend together for me after awhile, but I'll be any of the ficBella or Edwards that have millions of dollars. My favorite writer is Betty Smith, so maybe I'll pic the Bella from The Gentleman From Washington State or from another political writer, Bella from The Cullen Campaign. I love strong, smart, sassy, sexy and witty Bellas.

Hi! I’m Karen – also known as “Kare” or Kare831 on FFn. I’m a thirty something mom to a beautiful 4 year old little girl. I’m a hairstylist by day and I write fanfic at night. I’m from SoCal and lucky enough to live close to Disneyland where my daughter and I love to hang out whenever we can. I should mention that my kiddo is totally team Edward and she’s not afraid to rock her “Shh … don’t tell Daddy Mommy’s reading Twilight again” t-shirt and she’ll probably tell you in no uncertain terms that Rob is hot.

I must have read all the Twilight books about twenty times each before I discovered how good fanfic really was. My “niece” encouraged me to check it out, but it was the girls I blogged with on eclipsemovie.org that got me addicted because I wanted to know what the hell “sparkly white unicorns” meant. I’ve been hooked ever since.

I’m lucky enough to co-author a fic called “What Fills the Eye Fills the Heart” with my partner in crime Twimom817 about a very HAWT Irishward. She’s unable to make it to Vegas but she’ll be there in spirit. I’ll be at the Pub having a pint of Guinness in her honor while I’m there. If anyone is interested in joining me the more the merrier!

I’m also a big believer that if it’s not in the scrapbook it didn’t happen. If I’m not working, reading or writing – I’m scrapping. I don’t usually scrap for myself – my albums and pages are usually for other people so I’m holding out on the fact that Twilight won’t be over for a very long time. =)

I’m excited to come to Vegas to meet writers and readers alike and people who I share this crazy obsession with in general. Can it be June already? I’m looking forward to meeting y’all!

I'm so excited to introduce you to my TFMU roommate, Raffinie (Ashley) :)

Hello, hello...

Finally paid fees and booked my flight, so I can stop being indecisive about whether or not I'm GOIN TO VEGAS LADIES!

Not a writer, just a reader. I have beta'd a few one-shots, but other than that I just scour the nets for the good words. I've been reading twific since probably around 2008. The first fics I read are probably no longer available sadly (on ff.net anyway) but the first one that I really remember leaving an impression was Creature of Habit by EZRocksAngel. My favorite fics are a mix of ironic humor and bittersweet angst, and I don't really have a preference either way for AU/AH/Canon as long as the story is good. I'm not a huge fluff fan, but I can bear it occasionally. I love a well-researched historical fic, especially if I learn some cool historical facts in the process.

I'm most looking forward to the Twific Meetup so that I can leg-hump my dear friend Aleighy in person (AHHHH!!!!), and also to eat all the delicious things and drink a martini wearing a killer dress that I have nowhere to wear in my normal life. (still kicking myself for letting go of the Jessica Rabbit dress)

I've never been to Vegas, but my husband has already begun incessantly informing me how unbearably hot it will be and how I'll have to pay eleventy-billion dollars for a cocktail, but I DON'T EVEN CARE I'M GOING TO VEGAS!

I am a soon-to-be (20 more days til my bday) 27 year old, wife & mother of one small dragon baby, also known as my son Olin. He's the greatest. I have a dog, but he's been demoted since my son was born, so now he's just "the husband's dog." I work full time and for some reason thought it would also be awesome to enroll in grad school with a new baby running around the house terrorizing aforementioned dog, so my fic reading is done between essays and finals and bath time. Most days I wonder "what is my life?"

Lastly, if I could be any FicBella, I'd want to be "spark"-ella from bluebathrobe's Tropic of Virgo so I could sing like molasses and honey and write lovely songs with WriterWard.

I am sooooo happy to introduce you to my friend, MsKathy:

1. What was the 1st Twilight FanFiction that you read? Did it only entice you to read more? Why or why not?

The first fic I ever read was Moonlight Over Manka's. Oh, it made me dive in head first. So many people know this story already, but because I found fanfic through that story, and then browsed from the main FFn web page, I had no idea there were M-rated stories for months. I read a LOT of sweet t-rated fic.

2. What are you most looking forward to at the Twific Meet Up?

Lots and lots of hugs, and alcohol, and gambling, and buffets (we're keeping it real here, right?), and more hugs. Oh, and the giggles.

3. Are you a reader or a writer, or both?

-If you're a writer, what genre(s) do you mainly write?

-If you're a reader, what genre(s) do you mainly read?

I am absolutely BOTH. I mainly write... wait, I don't think i can pick a genre. If I have to generalize, I mainly write romantic erotica. The nitty gritty varies frequently (from pairing and gender and sexuality and quantity of people... etc).

I love to read everything -- still dig those sweet t-rated fics I started with, love smutty goodness, and everything in between. A well-written story will make me forget who I am, why I'm awake, and why the people that seem to live with me are so damned demanding. The list of fics I won't read is much shorter.

4. Have you ever been to Vegas before? If yes, tell us what you loved/hated most about it. If you haven't been, what are you most excited to see - or on the opposite side of the spectrum - what are you most worried about when visiting Vegas? (I'm worried about excessive sweating, tbh.)

HELL YES. As a former Californian, I have been to Vegas more times than I can count. I love the vibe the city has, but hate the smoke-filled casinos (the smoke part, not the casino part). Honestly, I never go to Vegas for the sites (unless I have MiniMe with me -- the fountains at Bellagio are our favorite, hands down, at night! I SWOON). I go for the booze, the gambling, the abso-fucking-lutely fascinating people-watching, and the buffets. I'm a simple girl with simple needs.

5. Have any pets? Kids? If so, tell us how many and their breeds (the dogs, people, the dogs). We love animals! (Well, I do.) (And kids, too!)

One giant cat, one insane hamster, one incredibly smart and beautiful child, and one nerd-tastic husband.

6. What did you think of The Hunger Games movie? WHAT?! WE ALL SAW IT DIDN'T WE?! (Just kidding. Psst...go ahead and answer it if you want to, I won't care.)

OH GOD don't kick me out, I have not read the books (yet), nor seen the movie. *hides in the corner*

Bonus Question:

If you could be one FicBella, FicEdward, FicEmmett, FicJasper or FicAlice (you get the picture-pick any character) for one day - which one would it be? (I would totes be FicEdward in @TruceOver's A Tale of Two Cities)

OOOHHHHH SHIT SOPHIE'S CHOICE.

I spent ten minutes writing out my answer, thinking of a different fic/reason, erasing my original answer and re-writing... at least five times.

The truth is, there has been such a vast array of deep, meaningful characters written in this fandom. I think I would be lucky to take any of their places for a day, because the majority of authors here truly respect their characters and take them on compelling, heartfelt journeys. I would be glad to step into their shoes and experience the magic touch of amazingly gifted writers.

THANK YOU LADIES for all of your hard work and dedication to this meetup. I know it hasn't been easy, but I hope you will look back after the event and think it was worth it.

I'm a Midwest girl who has never strayed far from her ChiTown roots...that's Chicago for those of you not up on the lingo here. I can be classified as a Northsider because of my undying love for the Cubs & a Hockey hoor for my love of the BlackHawks!

I'll blame my friend Sue for my twific addiction due to a very long boring car ride to Ohio about 3 years (but let's not regress).

My hubs knows I love all things Twilight but knows nothing about my participation in the fandom.

I read & write (or I should say attempt to).

My life is crazy as I spend a fair share of it on the road (professionally & personally) which has given me the chance to meet others from the fandom (even though I think some actually go into hiding when I hit their town instead). Also it gave me the miles I needed to fly out for the meet up.

My real passion is to give more back then I get out of life while I'm here. I'm no Mother Theresa but I do believe even the little things count & if more of us strived to live that way the world will be a better place. Hi! I'm Mindy but you probably know me as KYGirltwo. I'm a stay at home mom to two little girls in Kentucky.

My love of Twilight began right around the time New Moon was being released on DVD. Kinda late to the party but what a party it is! I got the books and movies from a coworker of my husband's and have been hooked ever since. Of course, Rob took the place of my obsession which lead to me to RAoR (Random Acts of Rob). These ladies cracked me up and I felt a strange kinship to them. Every Sunday they would have fanfiction recs and I would just ignore them for the longest time. I had just had a baby and couldn't find time to shower much less read. Curiosity got the best of me when they would not stop talking about MotU. From the first chapter I was a goner. I loved it and then realized there were many more stories out there which were FREE! AND we got to be involved a little in the process giving the authors feedback. GENIUS! So now I spend every free minute I get trying to read a story from my neverending 'to be read' list.

I can't wait to meet everyone in Vegas! I'm looking forward to putting faces with these beautiful people who have enriched my life and made me feel more like a friend than many people in my real life. Hugs and kisses!!

Cicki @TwilightAcademy is my TwiFic mentor. She suggested I first read Animate Me by @AbstractWay. Now I understand why. It is a great story, and of course it ties in with Fanchinima, Edward is an animator!

I am really looking forward to meeting people from the TwiFic community. I want to learn how to best support them in creating TwiFic movies.

So far I am only a TwiFic reader, but I like writing, and like most people I have the ”write a book”-dream. Someday it will happen. I am new to reading Fan Fiction and so far am only reading 100% TwiFic.

I have been to Vegas a couple of times for conferences (Telecom, Internet, Media). Those visits have been almost exclusively business. Since I don’t enjoy gambling I should really go to some shows.

When I was a kid we had an American Cocker Spaniel called Dremita Girl. She was a prize winner when we got her, but we turned her into a puppy. Nowadays I have kids instead, three of them; 18, 4 and 1 years old. Myself, I am 44 years old.

I haven’t seen the Hunger Games movie….

If I were to be a FanFiction character: Being a British subject of an oldish family, I would have to be FicEdward.

Hi everyone, my name is Heather (or Day_Zeee on Twitter).

My obsession started on Christmas 2008 when my son bought me Twilight and I ended up devouring the entire Trilogy in a few days. I stumbled upon fanfiction from a forum link on Stephanie Meyer's website which led me to read "Dark Side of The Moon" by blondie AKA robin. It was all downhill from there! I read mostly Bella/Edward fic, my top three favorites are Emancipation Proclamation by Kharizzmatik, Ithaca is Gorges by giselle-lx, and The Office by tby789 and kyla713.

About me: I'm 33, happily single and have a 17 year old son who is spoiled rotten. I also have a pomeranian who barks at every single thing including the wind and a pit-bull/boxer who is afraid of his own shadow. I have dedicated my life to helping at risk youth, currently I work with homeless youth. I'm in school for my bachelor's and am taking piano lessons. I'm kinda shy at first, but after awhile it'll be hard to shut me up. I've been to Vegas a few times and last time I went I got to see the Thunder from Down Under. It was money well spent! This pic is me and my son going to gay pride in Albuquerque last year in support of my best friend. Ask me the story of that weekend when you see me, it's very entertaining!

If I could be one fic character... It's hard to choose just one! I'll go with FicEdward from Love in my Box b/c he's hot, sweet, smart, thoughtful and seemingly oblivious to the craziness around him.

I'm super excited to meet everyone in fabulous Las Vegas and I just know it will be an awesome experience that hopefully will turn into an annual trip and lifetime friendships.

Hey there, I’m Jessica, also known as Jessica1971 on FF & Twilighted, SmokeyRosey on Twitter (my name had already been taken when I signed up for twitter.. argh!!). I’m 40, divorced (divorced so long I consider myself just plain single), and have a beautiful dog named Belle (no kids of the 2-legged variety). I live in Maryland, but am very close to DC/VA, and am fortunate enough to have several very cool fandom friends who live close enough that we get together from time to time.

I read Twilight a few weeks after the movie came out. A friend of mine was very persuasive despite my insistence that I wasn’t into “the vampire thing”. Boy, am I glad she convinced me! Read the book, saw the movie, devoured the rest of the books. Then I read them again. After that, I was like, “what now?” So I did some Google searching and found a very interesting article about Twilight that included a section on fan fiction & some of the best stories at the time. My first fan fic was a 2 chapter “missing moment” from Breaking Dawn called Isle Esme by Vixen1836. It gave me everything I was looking for instead of the “fade to black” that frustrated the hell out of me. From that point I was hooked.

I haven’t written any FF, but I’ve beta’d for a bunch of stories & love reading FF & being a part of the community. I can’t wait to meet all the TFMU attendees in Vegas!

It's my pleasure to introduce you to my friend, la_geologia (or as I call her, LoveMuffin ;)):

Hi there, ladies! So my name is Belle (la_geologia on Twitter), and I'll be coming from San Diego, California. I've been reading Twific since 2010, and I completely blame my fic addiction on MotU and Wide Awake, since those are the first fics I ever read. I love reading just about any genre, but I will admit that I am a complete and total angst h00r most days. I don't really have a #1 favorite fic, but a few of the ones that are really close to my heart are Counterpoint, Paper CutOuts, There is a Light, Paper Heart... Ahhh and about twenty more!!

I'm beyond excited to be seeing all you lovely ladies in Vegas! I was at the Comic Con meetup last summer, and it was such an amazing experience to be able to talk about fic OUT LOUD in PUBLIC with sweet, fun people who totally understand my deepest, darkest secret. ;-)

My nerdy Vegas goal is to ride a roller coaster, and I'd really like to check out that ice bar in our hotel and maybe go dancing, but mostly I'm just looking forward to lots and lots of hanging out with you hot mommas and getting to discuss our favorite fics. I know there's going to be a ton of us there and it'll probably be a bit overwhelming trying to talk to everybody, but if you see me around please come say hi. I'll be the funny-looking short one who looks lost, and I promise I'm dying to meet you! :)

Hey y'all!!!! I'm Chylynn (pronounced Chai Lynn like Chai tea). I'm also known as Twi-Lin on FFN. I just changed my twitter name from @Twi_Lin to @Chye_Lin. I'm from the Land of Forks. Well not quite...it's 3.5 hours away!

After reading the Twilight Saga over and over, my daughter suggested that I check out Twilight Fanfiction. She used to read Harry Potter Fanfiction all the time. I have to say if I knew how lemony fan fiction can be, I would have paid a little more attention to what she was reading when she was 14!

Since I started reading Twilight FanFic in approximately August 2010, not one day has gone by that I haven't read something Twilight related. I always have a story going and I'm on the lookout for the next one that will own me. As far as fic goes I usually read Edward/Bella. I don't mind Bella/Jasper and Edward/Jasper doesn't bother me if the story is well written.

I am Team Edward and totally Team Robsten!

I'm really looking forward to going to Las Vegas and I'm bringing my hubs along. He's a great man that puts up with my Twilight Fic and Rob obsession! He has actually read MOTU and EP but refuses to read anymore fic until I read the book 'Dies the Fire'. Maybe one day I will read it so I can get him to read some other stories.

Hello Hello.

I'm SydneyTwilightMum on FFn & TWCS and SydneyGen on Twitter. I'm coming over to #VegasBaby from Sydney, Australia. My husband has been kind enough to let me escape for a couple of weeks!

I am eleventy billions amounts of excited about it! I have been reading fanfic since 2008 and starting writing fics (that nobody reads) a few years ago. I write for Twilight and also attempted a SVM Eric/Sookie one time! I've written many non-canon pairings, as those are my preference, and have a soft spot (or hard, depending on how you look at it) for all things slashy.

During the day I'm a SAHM to 3 young children and am studying to be a Kindergarten teacher so I can corrupt future generations of little ones! I have lived in America 8 years out of my life, but the last time I was there was 2004, and I've never been to Las Vegas!!! Can't wait to finally put faces to names and have fun!

Oh and as far as my family and RL friends are concerned, I'm attending a creative writers conference in Vegas... *winks*

OK, so chatting about myself is not my forte, but oh my gosh Aleighy is sooo pushy wanting the dish on everyone!

Let's see...I am the Fandom Fanatic and I am known for stalking the writers, I think everyone pretty much knows that about me. The meet up is just a perfect place for me to roam and actually meet who I have been following and writing about all this time. Oh! I am rooming with two fabulous writers too! Will have hidden cameras and tape recorders strapped to me at all times *grinning*.

What else *tapping finger on chin*, I think I wound up here pretty much the same as many of us. Love of The Twilight Saga and the mutual disappointment with SM and her fade to black! My first story I fell in love with was Lola Shoes' "Let Your Light Shine" trilogy. Now that was what I would have loved to have read in Breaking Dawn. I soon discovered the amazing stories and talented writers in the fandom and was hooked and obsessed. I started following many writers on twitter and soon started my blog, a very socially acceptable way of stalking. I have chatted and interviewed so many and have loved every minute of it, made some great friends in the process as well.

Really looking forward to meeting and chatting with everyone. It will be a complete blast! After all, I've never been to Vegas but have been told...what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

Hi, I'm Liz, penname and twitter name is LizzieD1211. While I've not published anything on FFn as of yet, I have started a couple of short stories. I've had opportunities to judge a couple of

contests and also have helped with pre-reading for a couple of authors.

I came late to the "Twilight" fandom, spring of 2010. I consider myself to be a "Twi-Lady" as I'm a bit older than the normal twilight fans!! I heard about fanfiction about the time of the Eclipse premiere and the rest is history!! I started out reading canon fics and have now read many different genre and also non-canon couples. I am mainly a B & E fan but I keep an open mind. My favorite fic is Wide Awake and my favorite Robsten fic is Beyond Twilight. Of course, there are too many great fics to mention and I look forward to discussing everyone’s favorites.

I am a mom to a 2-year old dachshund and work as a Realtor and also a Ski Instructor in the winter. I live in the mountains of North Carolina and have to drive several hours to a decent airport; however, I still love to travel. I decided to come to Vegas as I feel it will be a wonderful opportunity to meet others who are addicted to this crazy Twilight Fanfic phenom and also meet many people from different parts of the world. I've not ever been to Vegas but that was not a factor in signing up for this meetup.

So, one day I was on Facebook on the flair app and EVERY. OTHER. BUTTON. said something about Edward Cullen. I turned to my friend and I'm all "Who the fuck is Edward Cullen?!"

Famous last words.

She tells me about this series of books, and I quickly realize that it's this series she's been RAVING about forever. We're talking she went to the midnight release oft he books - BOOKS. But the thing is ... these books have three things I dislike intensely: 1) Vampires 2) Teenagers 3) True love (gag me)

But, as fate would have it, I was in Target that night. Twilight was $6. Eh, I should see what all the hype is about for $6, right? I bought it. I started reading. Before I knew it, it was the middle of the night, I was done with the book, and I have NEVER in my entire literary life, been so DESPERATE to get my hands on book 2.

That was a week after Breaking Dawn (the book) came out. I've been an active, out of the closet ( the second picture is my cluttered cubicle at work) Twi-Hard ever since. I'm in love with Twilight (duh), Rob, and BEWARE - a proud, die-hard Krisbian.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and being in Vegas for the first time since my 21st Birthday! WOO.

I'm Rebekah. I write and comment as Reb (Rebadams7) I'm a mother of two of my own, a son and daughter, twelve exchange students, a lovely daughter-in-law and a grandson, not to mention a wonderful husband who might be somewhere about this weekend. I'm a funeral director by trade, and I've been lucky to have spent the past year plus traveling around the US as my husband takes on different assignments as a travel nurse. I came to Twilight via a movie night with my daughter. One viewing and we were hooked. We had the novels finished by less than a week. In fandom, I gravitated toward FF, after having published a long story years ago with a co-author in Germany. I got a plot bunny and I was off! I managed to hold off on reading the Twilight Series for quite a while, but as soon as I did, the obsession and subsequent fanfic addiction was inevitable. Sound familiar? I have been an avid ff reader for the past 11-12 years. There are some amazing stories and writers in fanfiction. Every new story is an opportunity to learn about something new and be impressed, yet again, by the brilliance of these writers. Hi from Cincinnati! I’m Lori and the lucky mom to an extremely spoiled, but very sweet fifteen-year-old daughter. I work for a pharmaceutical research company and love my job (when I don’t hate it!). I’m sure I am just like all of you; I read way too much to be considered healthy, I’m a firm believer RPatz will sweep me off of my feet soon and I tend to forget Twilight isn’t really real.

I’ve been hooked on Twific for a few years now and read and review under my FFn profile, ladysharkey1 (yes, I love sharks!). Last year I co-wrote my first multi-chapter story, Endings & Beginnings (posted under JadedLadies). Jadsmama (my person) and I are working hard co-writing another story because we can’t stop feeding the beast.

Luckily for me I’ve been able to make new friends throughout the fandom and have been even luckier to have met a few of them in person whom I love dearly. I plan on keeping them around me for life, by force if necessary. LOL

I’ve traveled to Las Vegas only once before, but it’s been around twenty years ago…damn, I’m old. I can’t wait to make new memories with all of you!

Hiya! I'll try to keep this short, but I'm a little on the wordy side, so....

I'll be 38 towards the end of June, but, we don't need to talk about that. *Ahem* I'm a married mom of 2 boys, 14 and 12 - both of whom I love dearly, but they both drive me batty on a daily basis. So, yeah, Mom's in desperate need of a little vacay time! Needless to say, I'm super excited to go to Vegas (again...it's been a little while)! Ironically enough, it was a combination of my youngest son (who was in 3rd grade at the time) begging me to rent the movie Twilight, and some lovely ladies at work (both much older than me) begging me to read the books, that sent me on this obsessive/compulsive swan-dive into the deep waters of the Twilight Saga! And oh lord, did they create a monster in me. I read the books within 2 weeks, fell in love with a certain gorgeous British boy, and the rest is history. I was introduced to this little gem called Fanfiction after hearing about it and my small obsession turned into a full blown lifestyle! I was hooked, and the talent of these unknown authors blew me away. Always loving to write myself and dabbling a little, I decided to take a stab at it. I came up with a few little things, but the first one I started, Forsaken In My Mind's Past, is my WIP baby and one I've been writing for 2 years. Whew, I'll feel truly accomplished once I finish it! I was invited (and talked into going) to Vegas by a fantastic friend, and I'm looking forward to meeting other authors, readers, etc. etc. I'm ready for some fun!

By the way, the pic I've included is of me on my last trip to Vegas (October 2010) getting a little cozy with the dark prince. Well...I am Wicked after all!

I'm Wiseone2980 (Jori) and I'm strictly a reader - trust me, If I tried to write something, it would be like a jr. high-er wrote it...that bad, I promise you. I'm married, with a 3 year old little girl. We live in Southern California and go to Disneyland A LOT! I've been reading fanfiction for years - I was reading stuff for other fandoms in the late 90's, and then found the Twilight fanfiction in the summer of 2008 when we were waiting for Breaking Dawn to be released. How I found Twilight in the first place... not really sure, but I ordered the first book on amazon the week before I was flying out to visit my best friend in Colorado, but I missed the UPS guy and they didn't leave it at my door, so I flew out to see her without reading material. I got there and she happened to have the Penelope DVD which had the Twilight preview on it, so I ended up with a vision of Robert Pattinson as Edward from day one. BTW, Rob is the only celebrity I would risk my job for - we see celebrities quite often where I work but are instructed to treat them as regular people (this might be why I was cracking up the day that Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden ended up in my office a few years ago), but I would totally put myself in jeopardy for him. I'm not sure if I've got bail money, so i guess i better not do anything outrageous then!

Please alert us the moment any of the precious-es enter your work space. That's an order! J/K (Maybe.)

Make Your Fic Into A Movie? IF ONLY...

If only there was a way to see Edward (ahem, I mean Edmond) from "insert your favorite fanfiction here" or Bella (err...I mean Belle) from "insert your favorite fanfiction here" appear on screen - just like they do in your head...if only...WAIT! THERE IS A WAY!

FANCHINIMA *angels sing and bright lights shine* CAN DO IT.

The majority ruled and we will be graced with a presentation on FAN-CHI-NI-MA at this year's TFMU. This means they need YOU (the author of said fanfiction) to share your story and visions in order to create a 2-3 minute "mini movie or trailer" to bring your characters to life.

But your fic is all-porn-all-the-time, you say? We're going to have to indoctrinate these guys(and girls?) into the Twific way of life at some point, aren't we? (PSA: This is not a call for Porn-Filled FanFic - we also want plot people. ;-D)

We are asking for up to 10 (TEN) authors to submit their fics for presentation at the meet up on June 9, 2012. SO EMAIL US ASAP. twificmeetup@gmail.com

If you're not one of the lucky few who will get their Fanchinima presented at the meet up - don't fret! They have offered FREE Premium Fanchinima services - for a year - for every person who attends the TFMU 2012 in Las Vegas!

On Fanfiction I am 'Alice's White Rabbit'.

I came into the Twilight world late. I got really curious about the time 'New Moon' was coming out in the theaters. My college-age niece and high school aged neighbor were both reading the books and were really excited when the "Breaking Dawn" book came out. So, I thought I would see what all the kids were talking about. I bought a cheap copy of "Twilight" to watch before I went to see "New Moon". I thought, OK, I'll go see this new movie and see what I really think. By the last line in the movie, "New Moon", I told myself that I HAD to read these books. So, I borrowed the books from my neighbor and read all 4 in 4 days- very little sleep and I was working full time!! And, I haven't looked back since.

I found fanfiction like many people. I was looking for more and found the link on Stephenie Meyer's website for "Midnight Sun". Read that and still wanted more, so searched for more. And, found FANFICTION!! That was a little over 2 years ago and I haven't stopped reading. I don't have much ambition to write (though, I have considered it). What I really want to be when I grow up is a beta (lol). I love fixing bad grammar and spelling!

I live in the far northern suburbs of Philadelphia and have just retired. (And, no I'm not quite old enough to retire, but my company made an offer that was too good to refuse.) I will be 60 this year, but I don't feel it. I'm very young at heart. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone in Vegas!
