My real name is Amanda. I'm married and have three children--none of whom will be coming with me, lol. I'm supposed to be working full time, but I lost my job in January. Hopefully, I'll have a new one by June...
I live in Nevada, although at the other end of the state, so I couldn't pass up the chance to meet so many fic friends practically on my doorstep.
I read all four books in three days in December 2009, and that was the beginning of the end. After rereading them so many times I lost count, I still had questions and doubts, and in seeking answers, I found my way to fanfiction, which I'd never previously heard of even though I'd browsed a few Harry Potter fan sites. Next thing I knew, I wanted to beta and joined Project Team Beta, and then I decided to try writing. Between PTB and twitter, I've virtually met so many wonderful people, and I can't wait to meet at least some of them in person in Vegas!
