WELCOME! WELCOME! Let's meet Kare:

Hi! I’m Karen – also known as “Kare” or Kare831 on FFn. I’m a thirty something mom to a beautiful 4 year old little girl. I’m a hairstylist by day and I write fanfic at night. I’m from SoCal and lucky enough to live close to Disneyland where my daughter and I love to hang out whenever we can. I should mention that my kiddo is totally team Edward and she’s not afraid to rock her “Shh … don’t tell Daddy Mommy’s reading Twilight again” t-shirt and she’ll probably tell you in no uncertain terms that Rob is hot.

I must have read all the Twilight books about twenty times each before I discovered how good fanfic really was. My “niece” encouraged me to check it out, but it was the girls I blogged with on eclipsemovie.org that got me addicted because I wanted to know what the hell “sparkly white unicorns” meant. I’ve been hooked ever since.

I’m lucky enough to co-author a fic called “What Fills the Eye Fills the Heart” with my partner in crime Twimom817 about a very HAWT Irishward. She’s unable to make it to Vegas but she’ll be there in spirit. I’ll be at the Pub having a pint of Guinness in her honor while I’m there. If anyone is interested in joining me the more the merrier!

I’m also a big believer that if it’s not in the scrapbook it didn’t happen. If I’m not working, reading or writing – I’m scrapping. I don’t usually scrap for myself – my albums and pages are usually for other people so I’m holding out on the fact that Twilight won’t be over for a very long time. =)

I’m excited to come to Vegas to meet writers and readers alike and people who I share this crazy obsession with in general. Can it be June already? I’m looking forward to meeting y’all!
